I am pleased to announce that my partner OneSource Technology, a managed IT partner serving businesses in Kansas and Oklahoma, recently completed the purchase of Hofftek, a Derby-based managed IT provider serving small business clients throughout Central Kansas. The announcement was made today by Paul Bush, principal consultant and founder of OneSource Technology. The sale was brokered by Steve Fischer, VR Business Brokers.
Bush and Hofftek founder Scott Hoffman spent this week in meetings with Hofftek clients to ensure a seamless transition for their service needs. Bush noted that Hoffman will be joining OneSource Technology as a senior consultant. “In addition to being an entrepreneur, Scott is a talented IT professional and we are excited to welcome him to the OneSource service team.” Hoffman founded his company in 2002. Bush estimates the Hofftek acquisition will increase OneSource’s annual revenues by approximately 20%.
Hofftek’s focus on small and mid-sized business blends perfectly with the service philosophy at OneSource. “We enjoy working with companies who have little or no full-time technology staff, we provide ongoing support on-site and remotely so our clients can focus on revenue-generating activities,” said Bush. “We also look forward to introducing Hofftek’s clients to additional products and services in the OneSource portfolio, such as our backup and disaster recovery solutions, and our web and email hosting services.”
